Josh is nearly eleven...he just got on the School soccor team and the club A team too so I'm constantly being a soccor mum.
Liam is nine...reading everything he gets his hands on.
Laughlin is 7 in grade 2 and also a soccor star in the making.

that's like 600km + north of Brisbane are you sure they are letting you loose?  Anyhow if you come down here I'll buy you a drink.  Shoalwater bay is good for water sports, theres dolphins and coral islands and if your real lucky you'll see some dugong and humpbacks.  Military guys aren't so popular with the tree huggers up that way so be careful :)  If you go south find Australia zoo and the Ettamogah Pub (it's in front of aussie world but the rides there are more for kids than adults)  No matter where you end up try some morton bay bugs and a kangaroo or emu steak.  it doesn't help much that I have no idea what you want to do...shop...eat...thrillseek...booty call(I hear the girls in Rockhampton are easy and adore American military)  but I hope some of this helps a bit.

Just got back from camping with my kids we had a great time and had kangaroo's hanging out behind out tent and a stunning lake that is no more than 2m deep at any point for the kids to play in.

Thought I'd poke my nose in and say hey.  Playing eq2 which is fun...they actually put a class that can glide in Kelethin so you don't die if you drop out of the trees!  Douv is playing wow he's hooked up with the older gamers which is a guild of 25+ rl age peoples.  age segregation helps to ignore the idiot teens.

yes I got a job in a Romance bookstore.  www.rosemarysromancebooks.com  I'm pretty sure if you fish around on the site there's even a picture of me hehe.  I got the job about halfway through last year and now I have heaps of books to read and have authors asking me for reviews and quotes.  Basically the convention is a chance for fans to smooze with authors and authors to smooze with publishers/editors/reviews and booksellers.  To make it more fun they decided to add a couple of fancy dress parties give away enough books that you need a suitcase specially for them and make sure you don't have to pay for food or drinks the entire time your there hehe.  Douv's not coming but someone had to stay home and look after the kiddliwinks and he'd have been bored braindead anyhow.

The dates for the convention next year have been released it runs from the 18-22 of April but I plan on being there about a week in advance so there will be plenty of time for me to hang out with you guys.  Reminds me, need to find a way to contact Kane he'll spit if I show up on the same continant without telling him.

I'll probably know where I'll be staying by the end of next month because it will get announced at the end of this years RT.  Hopefully we can all get together for a day or two hang out go to dinner, raid the carton of tim tams I'll be bringing over hehehe.  Then someone who's actually been to Houston can tell me if I'm central or if I should hire a car.....wrong side of the road driving, wonder if I need to do some kind of test to get a hire car overthere, Oh well I'm sure Douv can find all that out for me.
