Fate

Your beauty is like the deepest color of
A perfect rose, we met one spring day
I confessed unto you my passions, desires, love,
Things yet to do, honor calls me away

Memories fade slowly like a sunset.
Always there some remain, kindness, beauty.
I focus in pain of times of peace, rest
Would be a welcomed friend, but duty calls me.

Once again, but from with in I feel it.
Upon a strangers face I see't traces
Of a perfect rose, her eyes filled with light,
Sparks ignite from the depth of hidden places.

Our love shall make poets weep, eternally
Binding, a child's prayer answered unknowingly.
