What do you guys think? I don't know about about Saif and Big but I don't sit n cast for donations anymore. Its not worth the time involved imo. Unless its during off hours (when I'm exping with the aussies or sleeping). There's just to much competition to make it worth my while when I can be doing something else. The rule I would tell people when they asked how much they should donate was level x 1 plat. But I just don't get enough people wanting KEI to justify sitting on my butt doing nothing. I have only once made decent plat (imo) sitting and buffing.
I'm just curious about this its not a burning issue for me but I am sick of begging tells and the hate tells when I say sorry I'm busy.
Of course I always buff my guildies for free but you guys don't bug me and you always make sure I'm not busy :)
As far as I am concerned KEI is as good as a PL for 4 hours. Under level 20 Caster classes have a limitless mana pool using KEI. All the way though level 60 people can pull at non-stop rates in groups doubling or tripling the expierience they would have recieved without KEI. Dont Humor the children, you worked your Arse off to get to 60, and if you werent lucky enough to LOOT kei then you probably paid 10-30k for the scroll. I for one know exactly how expensive spells can get, shaman get screwed when it comes to Topor / Malo and many of the group buff spells we NEED to be efficient.
I would point out that soloing / Partnering in Seb at NR camp or something similar you can make 1000pp an hour with easy, i have done 3000pp in 90min at times. Sitting and casting KEI for 10pp a shot is a joke. If your going to do it for cash its 100pp a person. Thats what I Happily pay, and like everything else in life... its their choice.

Encouraging these people is whats wrong with the world we live in, If they dont have PP take a few stacks of Spiderling silks or pelts you can make leather padding and sell.... or something else that has value to you. Sony has to make KEI lvl restricted even in groups IMO!

I agree with Val :) I think KIE should be restricted to lvl 46 and up character's. If you can't get into the Planes then you don't really need it :D
It is levle restricted, its kind of a Exploit to cast it on lower lvl characters.... Have to target yourself and have them in group
Yeah I also agree KEI should be completely level restricted, they need to fix that bug. Makes leveling low level casters easy as pie :)
Apparently this rant on the BF has stired up some feeling. Poor Saif was pimping in the nexus and was harrassed just for asking for donations!
I think the Chanters of Saryrn should unite and go on strike. For two weeks NO chanter will offer KEI to ANYONE unless you're grouped with them, raiding with them, or sleeping with them. After just two weeks of no KEI for any ammount of money I'm sure these idiots will STFU.
If a chanter wants to sit and buff for donations thats their right. I don't think they should be hassassed for it. If a chanter wants to charge 100 plat for it ditto. (although they shouldn't call that a donation 100 plat would be a fee).
This isn't an effort to raise the price of KEI. This is an effort to stop the harassment. If you want a buff and there isn't a chanter offering a MGB or free KEI for the next 5 minutes then too bad stop sending me tells dammit. There is a guy by the nexus stone whos been spamming for hours he's selling it what makes you think if you send me a tell I'll do it for free? Especially because nine times out of ten its usually followed up with "Do you have a spare robe?"
hmm sorry lol /rant off people harassing poor Saif makes me mad. Only mobs are allowed to use him for a chew toy not some stupid warrior with class envy. ;)
