If I were in middle earth I would be Legolas Greenleaf... yes... an elf... tsk tsk. Too bad there was no Gnomes in my favorite movie of all time.

Actually 6 books in the Lord of the Ring.  Although it was published as a trilogy it is divided into 6 "books."  Tolkein really intended it to be published in one volume, and the books were just put in as conveinant stopping points for the reader.  His publisher convinced him to publish it as a trilogy.  I actually would of much prefered it if they had made it as six movies, they wouldn't of had to cut out so much then, but then I'm a big geek :).

BTW I got Eowyn the first time I tried it, then grew a beard and did it again and got Eomer ;).  Was hoping for Aragorn but oh well :)

Three Lord of the Rings is 1 book, divided into 3.

The other 3 books, considered not apart of the trilogy, detail the journeys of Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey which were originally written as childrens books.

But really now... is this the point of the thread :D

Celeborn

If I were a character in The Lord of the Rings, I would be Celeborn, Elf, King of Lothlorien, husband of Galadriel and grandfather of Arwen.
