hey i was reading about these quests on eqtraders, and i have one question. when you make the final combination. say you put in 3 etheral sheets of metal, does that give you either a bp or legs, meaning that you could get legs twice in a row or a bp twice in a row?
you need a mold for armor unless I'm mistaken
You need a mold that (as reports go) drop in Halls of Honor. It is kindain a way similar to the kael tov armor quests in the sense you need to proper armor mold.
Yeah, and I found out you appearantly don't need any tailoring/smithing skill, it's just a combine of all the quest items of which one is a dropped mold.

It's a general list started on the glade about loot, there's a few PoP armor listings for the combines, it's not all ranger oriented either.
Actually you need a 250 smith to make some of the componants. Final combine is no-fail though, so no skill required.
