Miss you guys even after all this time.

As Sony informed me a few thousand times via email, EQ has gone free to play. I logged on tonight for the first time in 7 or 8 years after downloading the client.

Anyone interested in downloading the game and gathering perhaps one last time just to catch up? I honestly don't remember how to play EQ, but I can still run in circles pretty well!

So I'm not really playing anything at the moment. I started a new job with a web-design company a couple months ago as the Production Manager. The best thing about it is that it has nothing to do with the law whatsoever. I've been putting in a lot of time at the office to fix some issues, so my WoW playtime dropped to zero. I might pick it up again, but probably not for a while still.

Yeah, I played Vivace for about 6 months or so? He's elemental-flagged now and VT keyed. I haven't really played EQ for almost a year now, having been swallowed up by the WoW universe.

Vivace is inactive, but I've still got all the login info and stuff. Let me know via email at grove200@hotmail.com if you want him back, or if anyone does really. My EQing days are, without question, over :-)

I started WoW 2 days ago... have a level 12 warrior named Axeroth and a level 5 wizard named Copernicus on the Agammar server. I've enjoyed it a lot, especially the fact that if you don't log on for a while, you get exp bonuses while you're camped in town.

The artwork is incredible, and there are very few actual zonelines. It runs a few thousand times better than EQ ever did.

I don't know much about EQ2 except that it was down all weekend, which turned their developers turned into apologetic little bitches because they have competition now. Before, with EQ, they could treat us like crap because there was no viable competition. Now, Smedley is on his knees, which is somewhat amusing.

It comes down to the fact that I am unwilling to go with Sony in the long run again. My server on WoW is relatively young, so I have seen few fanbois out there. I did run into Variagruss though, which was cool.
