Not sure what made me think of it, but I found myself reminiscing of the good ole days and felt like stopping by to say hi.  I don't have much time for games anymore, but it's funny how the few that I play are always compared to the classic days of EQ.  Seems like nothing ever quite meets the mark for having as much fun as I did back then.

Anyway, I hope all of you are doing well. 

Well, I finally turned on the new spell effects to see what kind of damage had been done to bards.  It turns out some of them are rather cool.  I took some screenshots and posted some of the better ones on the website.  

If you have some spell effects that you think are cool, post them here or send them to me at zorvic@kofguild.com.  I might setup an area on the website just for showing them off.

A friend sent these to me.

For the last week, I have been crashing while zoning quite a bit.  I found  a post online that seems to have helped address this problem.  If you are having similar issues, then feel free to give this a try.

I do NOT guarantee this to solve your problems.

In your userdata directory (subdirectory of your EQ installation), move all of your CJ*.* files to a temp directory.

Login to EQ.

If you are using the default keymapping, press ALT+J to open your journal and disable it.

I am still testing it, but so far the zone crashing has ceased.

Just an idea to try for those of you that are frustrated.

Interesting stuff...

Sounds like they are trying to work in some elements of Planetside into EQ.

I was going to hold off on the official announcement until some more functionality was completed.  However, I think it would be cool to allow folks interested in joining the guild to see some of our current activities.

We will continue to use this site as our message board.  The new website will be used for news, displaying our guild roster, managing raids (mobs killed and items awarded), and eventually applications.

For now, only recent activities are posted on the site.  It is still under construction and much more will soon be available to view for both members and guests.

Hail, KoF!

A lot of you probably don't even know who I am, but there still are some familiar faces on the guild roster.  From perusing the forum, I can see that a lot has changed since I was last here.  It is good to see that KoF has joined the ranks of other guilds raiding in ToV and such places.

First things first.  I owe several of you an apology for abruptly disappearing without an explanation.  Due to work and some personal reasons, I had to quit rather suddenly.  I meant to come by and leave a post on the board, but just never got around to doing it.  I apologize for leaving you guys hanging.

I have spoken to Airelyn and made sure that everything is cool with my return.  Hopefully, the rest of you feel the same.  Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know that I am officially back in the world of EQ...and oh how I have missed it.  So, don't be surprised to see me out and about in the world of Norrath.

Now...if I can only remember what song does what.
